The Clerk’s office is located in the City Hall. This office is committed to the needs
of the residents and the city.
Staff Includes: Connie Anderle – City Clerk, Terri Davis – Water Clerk
We process your water and sewer bills, issue raffle and entertainment permits, solicitor
permits, and coordinate with the public works department, zoning department, and
police department on a daily basis.
If we don’t have the answers to the questions, we usually can guide you in the right
direction.
The Mayor and Aldermen do not have regular office hours; however, a message can always
be left at the City Hall.

Wednesday, April 10, 2019
- From 1:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m., All motor vehcicles shall be removed form the designated
snow routes within two hours after a snowfall of 2 inches or more has occurred. Vehicles
shall remain removed and not be parked on any designated snow route until the snow
has discontinued and the roads have been plowed.
- All snow routes shall be designated as such by the posting of signs at reasonable
intervals.
- All motor vehicles shall be removed from the north and west sides of non-designated
streets for a period being 12 hours subsequent to the time that the snow stops falling.
After streets have been cleaned on the north and west sides, motor vehicles shall
be removed from the south and east sides of the non-designated routes. All motor
vehicles parked on non-designated snow routes in violation of the provisions of this
section shall first be tagged upon their front window with a notice of violation.
Motor vehicles may be towed away three hours subsequent to the tagging. All costs
of towing and storage shall be chargeable to the owner of the motor vehicles; however,
if a motor vehicle is tagged after 10:00 p.m., such motor vehicle may not be towed
away until 9:00 a.m. the following morning.
Snow Routes Are Designated As:
A. Fourth Street from Water Street to Prairie Street; B. Fifth Street from Water
Street to Ida Street;
C. Sixth Street from Water Street to Center Street; D. Main Street from Fourth Street
to Sixth Street;
E. Washington Street from Fourth Street to Seventh Street; F. Broad Street from Fourth
Street to Sixth Street;
and G. Prairie Street from Washington Street to Railroad Street
