BLOOD DRIVE - LACON COMMUNITY CENTER / FRIDAY, AUGUST 16TH

12:00 P.M. TO 5:00 P.M. - 405 N. Washington Street, Lacon

** WIND TOWER NOTICE  - NEW  DATE AND TIME**

During the month of August, we anticipate some traffic delays due to the transporting of large wind tower sections through Lacon.  Six trucks will haul one section each on Monday thru Friday, weather permitting.

The first convoy of three trucks is scheduled to leave the Midwest Foundation yard on Wednesday,  August 14th around 5:30 am, going south on N. Main St. and turning east on Rt. 17, then south on Route 26 to Route 116 where they will continue northeast to the staging area.

The second convoy is tentatively scheduled to leave around 12:30 p.m. the same day.

We expect the first morning may be a little slower as the drivers get accustomed to the route.
